Musique instrumentale, entre jazz et musique du monde, entre tradition et innovation… Muziek de Singe poursuit depuis 4 ans le fil de ses envies et multiplie
les détours pour métisser sa musique de couleurs et d’influences nouvelles. Entre l’acoustique qui s’électrifie et l’électrique qui s’acoustifie, les nouvelles
compositions du quintet affichent un style affiné dans une musicalité originale, fraîche et créative, pour le plaisir de la surprise et des ambiances inédites. « Cent
pour cent simiesque, tissé d’ambiances jazzy et aériennes, de rythmes à trois pattes et de mélodies cousues main ».

Instrumentele muziek, tussen jazz en wereldmuziek, tussen traditie en innovatie… Muziek de Singe streeft al 4 jaar haar ‘goesting‘ na en maakt omwegen om
haar muziek te voorzien van nieuwe kleuren en invloeden. De tour houdt halt in het Marni om hun nieuwe CD voor te stellen. Die wordt aangekondigd als “100 procent
aapachtig, doorvlochten van luchtige, jazzy sferen, ritmes op drie poten en handgenaaide melodieën”.
Tussen het akoestische dat elektrifieert en het elektrische dat akoestifieert. De nieuwe composities van het kwintet tonen een verfijnde stijl in een originele
muzikaliteit : fris en creatief, het plezier van de verrassing en van onuitgegeven sferen.

Instrumental music, between jazz and world music, between tradition and innovation…For four years Muziek de Singe have been looking for their senses and have been meandering on their way to colours and new influences to mix into their music. The
tour brings them to the Marni to present their new album which has been described as “100 percent simian, intertwined with lighthearted and jazzy atmospheres,
wobbling rhythms and handsewn melodies”. From the electrified acoustic to the acoustified electric, the quintet’s new compositions show a refined style in an
authentic musicality, fresh and creative, for the fun of surprise and of sparkling new ambiances.
