March On ! est un projet chorégraphique qui propose un traitement poétique et sensible du phénomène migratoire. L’angle chorégraphique est le mouvement universel, symbolique et politique : la marche.
Pour trois danseurs et un batteur, cette nouvelle création offre un langage brut et énergique, traduction d’un état de révolte face à l’injustice et aux stigmatisations que subissent « les migrants ».
March On ! aborde la marche comme symbole d’errance, de voyage, mais aussi de rupture et de transformation. Avec ce geste puissant, vecteur à la fois d’empathie et de contestation, le projet cherche à évoquer un mouvement de résistance et de solidarité. Sous les contraintes d’effort et d’endurance, March On ! interroge le flux historique et perpétuel de la migration comme mouvement instinctif de survie et d’évolution des peuples.
March On ! is een choreografisch project dat een poëtische en gevoelige blik werpt op het fenomeen migratie. De choreografische invalshoek is de universele, symbolische en politieke beweging van het lopen.
Voor drie dansers en een drummer biedt deze nieuwe creatie een rauwe en energieke taal, die een staat van opstand vertaalt tegenover het onrecht en de stigmatisering waaronder "migranten" lijden.
March On ! ziet lopen als een symbool van zwerven en reizen, maar ook van breuk en transformatie. Met dit krachtige gebaar, een voertuig voor zowel empathie als protest, probeert het project een beweging van verzet en solidariteit op te roepen. Onder de druk van inspanning en uithoudingsvermogen stelt March On ! de historische en eeuwigdurende migratiestroom in vraag als een instinctieve beweging van overleving en evolutie van volkeren.
March On ! is a choreographic project that takes a poetic and sensitive look at the phenomenon of migration. The choreographic angle is the universal, symbolic and political movement of walking.
For three dancers and a drummer, this new creation offers a raw and energetic language, translating a state of revolt in the face of the injustice and stigmatisation suffered by "migrants".
March On ! looks at walking as a symbol of wandering and travel, but also of rupture and transformation. With this powerful gesture, a vehicle for both empathy and protest, the project seeks to evoke a movement of resistance and solidarity. With its constraints of effort and endurance, March On ! questions the historical and perpetual flow of migration as an instinctive movement of survival and evolution of peoples.
