Brussels Jazz Marathon
FR Saï Dew est un groupe mêlant musique électronique et instrumentale. Trois d’entre eux, originaires de Lyon et amis d’enfance, décident de s’installer début 2013 à Bruxelles pour démarrer leur nouveau projet et s’imprégner du dynamisme de cette capitale. C’est ici qu’ils rencontreront Matis Regnault, talentueux bassiste. Leur premier album, "Polar Exodus", a vu le jour en janvier 2015.
Machines, claviers trompette, clarinette, sax, cello... il s’agit ici d’éléctro/trip hop à tendance progressive, le tout teinté de couleurs jazz parfois enrichi de notes Hip-Hop, Funk ou Drum and Bass. Ils puisent leur inspiration parmi divers artistes tels que Bonobo, Long Arm, Erik Truffaz, Valentin Stip, Portico, Jaga Jazzist, Cinematic Orchestra, E.S.T…

Three of them are childhood friends originally from Lyon, France. They decided to move to Brussels in the beginning of 2013 to absorb the vibes of the city as inspiration for their new project, where they met the fourth element, talented bassist Matis Regnault.They’ve released their first album "Polar Exodus" on January 2015.
Using a combination of machines, keys, trumpet, clarinet, sax, cello and other instruments, Saï Dew convincingly create a dense electro / trip hop / downtempo sound, with an overall blanket of jazz colouration, which is sometimes enriched with influences of Hip-Hop, Funk and Drum & Bass.
