alejandra borzyk présente pour la première fois son nouveau projet "TREMOR".
Iel rassemble son univers artistique avec les univers musicaux et sensibilités d’Adèle Viret (violoncelle), Benoît Quentin (contrebasse) et Diogo Alexandre (batterie et électronique). Les quatre musicien·nes se rencontrent pour créer collectivement un répertoire original, fondé sur l’exploration et la combinaison des sons venant des techniques étendues des cordes et du saxophone.
La transe et la méditation étant leur point de départ, le groupe plonge dans un mélange sonore à réminiscences orchestrales, de textures sonores bruitistes, avec une touche de synthèse granulaire et de l’improvisation libre. Leur processus de création collective ouvre les structures et laisse place à l’imprévisible, de plus avec leur invitée pour cette occasion : la légendaire chanteuse portugaise Maria João, avec qui le groupe sera emporté dans de nouvelles narrations inexplorées.

De muzikale werelden en gevoeligheden van Adèle Viret op cello, Benoît Quentin op contrabas en Diogo Alexandre op drums, worden samengebracht om gezamenlijk een origineel repertoire te creëren dat gebouwd is op de verkenning en combinatie van zowel snaar- als saxofoonuitgebreide technieken.
Met trance en meditatie als basis voor hun muziek, duikt de band in een mix van orkestrale reminiscenties, texturale geluiden, noise, een vleugje granulaire synthese en vrije improvisatie, die structuren opent en ruimte laat voor het onvoorspelbare.
Voor deze unieke gelegenheid nodigt de band de legendarische Portugese zangeres Maria João uit om zich bij hen te voegen voor verdere onontgonnen sonische gebieden.

The musical universes and sensitivities of Adèle Viret on cello, Benoît Quentin on doublebass and Diogo Alexandre on drums, are brought together to collectively create an original repertoire built on the exploration and combination of both strings and saxophone extended techniques.
With trance and meditation as the baseline for their music, the band dives into a blending of orchestral reminiscences, textural sounds, noise, a touch of granular synthesis and free improvisation, that opens up structures and leaves space for the unpredictable.
For this unique occasion, the band invites legendary portuguese singer Maria João to join them for further unexplored sonic territories.
