La 3eme édition du Marni Jazz Festival 2026 placée sous le signe #WILDOPEN aura lieu du 10 au 19 septembre 26.
Emprunté au lexique de la photographie, ce terme évoque une ouverture maximale pour capturer l’instant dans toute sa profondeur et sa spontanéité.
Le festival vous offre une programmation qui ose prendre des risques. Les choix artistiques se basent sur la vibration des concerts live : des coups de cœur viscéraux pour des artistes qui habitent la scène avec intensité. #WILDOPEN, c’est l’invitation à découvrir un jazz sans frontières, tantôt sauvage, tantôt d’une ouverture absolue sur le monde, l’électro ou la soul.
Dans un esprit similaire, les dessins en noir et blanc de Alain Dauchot seront exposés au bar jusque fin octobre : « Jazz, portraits clashés », entrée libre les soirs de représentation.

💥 1. Pour assister à des sorties d’albums et des projets inédits : Le festival est le théâtre de moments exclusifs, comme le concert d’ouverture d’Adja, dont le premier album a été produit par des figures majeures de la soul britannique.
Vous pourrez également découvrir les nouveaux opus de Napsis (sortie d’album, avec 13 musiciens, une rareté), de KVR avec "Spam Vol. 2" enregistré lors d’une semaine d’improvisation libre, ou encore le projet "Hiwar" du groupe bruxellois Aleph Quintet qui fait venir l’accordéoniste portugais Joao Barradas.
💥 2. Pour l’audace des collaborations et des "cartes blanches" : Fidèle à son esprit d’ouverture, le festival propose des rencontres artistiques uniques, des opportunités d’un soir à saisir. La jeune saxophoniste Elly Brouckmans propose une création mêlant son quartet de jazz à un trio vocal aux couleurs impressionnistes. De plus, le bassiste italien Federico Pecoraro bénéficie d’une carte blanche pour inviter une pointure internationale, le tromboniste américain Robin Eubanks.

De derde editie van het Marni Jazz Festival 2026, onder het motto #WILDOPEN, vindt plaats van 10 tot 19 september 2026.
Deze term, ontleend aan de fotografiewereld, verwijst naar een maximale openheid om het moment in al zijn diepgang en spontaniteit vast te leggen.
Het festival biedt u een programma dat risico’s durft te nemen. De artistieke keuzes zijn gebaseerd op de vibe van de liveconcerten : een instinctieve voorliefde voor artiesten die het podium met intensiteit vullen. #WILDOPEN is een uitnodiging om jazz zonder grenzen te ontdekken, soms wild, soms met een absolute openheid naar de wereld, de electro of de soul.
In dezelfde geest worden de zwart-wit tekeningen van Alain Dauchot tot eind oktober tentoongesteld in de bar : “Jazz, portraits clashés”, gratis toegang op de avonden van de voorstellingen.
